Using blockedit

Blockedit allows you to replicate your changes in one line of text to all other lines in the selection.

An example use is to put a comment character, such as #, in front of an entire series of lines.

To mark a selection for blockedit:

Once the blockedit selection is made, place your text cursor on any line within the selection. Whatever you type on that line will also be typed in the same position on every other line in the selection.
