Changing automatic indentation options

Coda's text editor offers optional automatic indentation. If this feature is enabled, when you press return, the next line will be aligned to the same indentation level as the previous line.

To toggle automatic indentation for the current editor document:

• Choose Text > Indent New Lines

To change the default automatic indentation setting for all documents:

1. Choose Coda > Preferences
2. Click Editor
3. Check or uncheck Automatically indent new lines
