Showing symbols

A "symbol" is a user-defined name that has meaning in the current language.

In HTML, symbols include the text in header tags (<h1>, <h2>, etc.)

In PHP, symbols include function declarations.

In CSS, symbols include selector IDs.

To see a list of symbols in the current editor document:

• Click the symbols button at the bottom of the file browser to reveal the Symbols pane:

To jump to a particular symbol in the document:

• Click on the symbol name in the Symbols pane
