Selecting multiple files

Many file actions that apply to one file can also be applied to an entire group of files.

To select a range of files:

1. Click the first file in the desired range
2. Press and hold down the shift key
3. Click the last file in the desired range
4. Release the shift key

To select a series of non-adjacent files:

1. Hold down the command key
2. Click a file to add it to or remove it from the selection
3. Release the command key when you're done selecting files
