In Coda, a "site" is a single icon containing all the relevant information for a particular web project, including the address of the web server, your login credentials, the root URL of the web site, default local and remote file paths, and your workspace layout.
By creating sites, you enable double-click access to your most commonly accessed projects, set up just the way you want them.
