Using a local shell

You can use the terminal view just as you would Apple's Terminal utility to use a shell on your local computer.

To start a local shell:

• Click the downward-pointing triangle to the right of the Connect Via SSH label:



• Choose Local Shell
• Click Connect

You can also quickly start a local shell by simply pressing the Connect button in SSH mode without filling out the login form.
